Friends of Ca-Layla, it’s with great gratitude and a humble heart I share with you I have sold Ca-Layla to an amazing new owner. I would love to introduce you to Becky Salyer. She has purchased the store which will now be Bumps ‘N Bundles. Becky has lived in Billings for the last 8 years and she and her husband John welcomed her darling daughter Juliette into her family last year. She has many years retail experience and has exciting things coming to Bumps ‘N Bundles including maternity wear! When you see our logo change on facebook just know, same location just a different friendly face. I am sure Becky will feel your support and love like you have shown me, it has been so much fun bringing Ca-Layla to Billings and I hope to someday reopen in Bozeman when the time is right.
Becky will be taking over August 3rd and will be closing for a couple days then reopening later that week. Watch your email and our facebook page for more exciting announcements.
For those of you with Ca-Layla gift cards please know they will be honored at Bumps ‘N Bundles through October 1st so please make it in to redeem those ASAP.
For those of you who have a session scheduled, DON’T PANIC! I will be leasing studio time at a friends studio– all is well, I am still coming back to Billings for session and plan on doing so 3-4x/month this year and 2-3x/month March-November of next year. With that said, I will be downsizing studio furnishings so please click here if you have seen your photos displayed in our studio or if you are interested in any of my studio furnishing.
|THANK YOU BILLINGS|
Now, on to the mushy stuff.
[lump in my throat. ready. set. go]
Thank you Billings for your support. Thank you Ca-Layla girls for being so amazing, I could have never made this “commute” work this long without you. That doesn’t sound like enough. THANK YOU ALL SO MUCH. I wish you all could feel my heavy heart and know how choked up I have been working the store last week and this week knowing this amazing part of my life is going to be done, that my ‘employees’ who are more like friends won’t be calling me every day. It’s bittersweet but I am so thankful I was able to create a beautiful space that brought so many of you out downtown. Thank you for your business and your support for the past 2 years. It’s been so much fun getting to know so many of your and meet your little kids. I know you will love Becky and I am so blessed in the fact I get to turn the store over to such a great person. My friend recently asked me “if you knew you were going to move 2 years ago would you have still started the store” and at that moment, a million fun memories rushed into my head of market trips, parties, strawberry festival, alive after five, black friday, late night inventory dates with Sara, a millions more. I would definitely do it all over again. And again. And again. And again. I heave learned so much about the business but more importantly about myself. Thanks to all of you who have helped me a long the way and to the fabulous girls who kept it all running for me. Thank you Amy, Molly, Hannah, Lydia, Bre, Destiny, Chelsie & Sara. I will miss you ladies.
Now, I hope I get to see as many of you as possible my last week here. Come in and say hello if you find yourself downtown. I will be working the store and getting my ‘fix’ before Becky takes it over!
